Throughout the summer, a number of European football's biggest stars have been linked with a move to Old Trafford, with the likes of Bastain Schweinsteiger joining Louis van Gaal's side ahead of the new season.
One name that has been repeatedly linked with a move to the Red Devils is Schweinsteiger's long time Bayern Munich teammate Thomas Muller, who is seen by many as the perfect solution to United's attacking problems.
However, unfortunately for the Manchester United faithful, according to the Mirror, the German club's sporting director, Mattias Sammer, has taken it upon himself to stump the speculation surrounding the German World Cup winner.
The 25-year-old striker has been linked with a €100million deal to the Old Trafford side, with club captain Wayne Rooney struggling to make an impact in front of goal so far this season.
Talking to reporters, Sammer said: "We will need every player."
He added: "I think that there is nothing more that could happen."
Muller has already bagged himself three goals in the German side's opening to games - imprinting his importance to Pep Guardiola's side.
